DESCRIPTION
PlugSuit is a plug-in manager that allows many InputManager and SIMBL-style plug-ins to work, even in Apple's new operating system.

Important warning: PlugSuit works on Leopard, but plug-ins may not have been written with Leopard in mind. If you intend to use a plug-in, check with its author for Leopard compatibility before installing it.

WHAT'S NEW
Version 1.5.4:
  • Includes a workaround for a bug that made PlugSuit stop working if it was left running for an extended period of time.
  • Includes UI refinements to the preference pane and Installer application.
  • Fixes a problem where a bundled plug-in, if any, wasn’t removed when the Installer application was used to remove PlugSuit. This could mean that, if an alternative plug-in manager was also installed, the plug-in would continue being used. The Installer now also removes the plug-in. (This affected removing Afloat.)
REQUIREMENTS
Mac OS X 10.5 or later.

GCOGHILL  So does this replace the need to have SIMBL installed? I am having probs with a specific plugin (Keywurl) on the MacBook, but not on the MacPro. Not sure what needs to go.

Especially confusing since the developer's other app, Afloat, installs it's plugin in the SMBL plugins folder. So far it seems you need the SIMBL helper plugins (Library->Application Support->SIMBL->Plugins) to remain installed for them to work.  (Version 1.5.4)

CYANN  Does it work with SafariPlus, QuickImage CM, and FinderIcon?  (Version 1.5.4)

ROOTPOOT1  After installing this, Safari opens a new window for every bookmark I choose from the bookmarks menu (not the bookmarks bar). The only Safari plugins I'm running are SafariAdBlock and Keywurl. Uninstalling returns Safari back to its normal behavior.  (Version 1.5.3)

ANONYMOUS  I was wondering if there is any documentation for this? I want to remove all my plug-ins and manage them with this but I don't understand how you install them into it. For example; Inquisitor has an installer which places it's items where they need to go, how do I make PlugSuit install it for me so it can manage it?  (Version 1.5.1)
