CORPSECORPS  A function i find myself needing that i was unable to find as a widget.

All sorts of apps and functions in them go RGB or whatever TO hexadecimal, but few go the other way.

But $10 JUST to convert colors?! I don't think so.

NEIL_M  I tried this and it functions. However at 0.b03 there really isn't any functionality on offer, that isn't available for free from reference tables on the internet for RAL.

If it was possible to use OS X's built-in colour picker for example, then it might change the situation.

There are some really functional and good value shareware applications available for $10 - at 0.b03 and with these limited features - I can't see it being worth $10.

I can't see why a conversion table lookup needs to be 1.8Mb either.

KOBALT  First public beta and already we have to pay US$9.70? What for exactly? The pleasure of sorting out the dev's bugs? Or just to have a "much better a chance to see [...] feature requests being implemented in future versions of Color Converter"?
