    RTERP  Just a quick note there was an omission in the Read Me about the Username\Password needed to access the system. The username and password is "mfgadmin" (all lower case). I will have a new version posted shortly that will correct this.

    If you have any questions please send e-mail to me postbooks@innosol.biz or visit the PostBooks Community site at www.postbooks.org.

    YUKON  Ok, double click installer and install..good...Now what???

    I launch the app and it asks to login to the database.

    What's the username and password? How do I start up the database or is it already set to run.?

    RTERP  Yukon the username and password are both "mfgadmin" (all lower case). Thank you for pointing this out I'll make sure the next release has this information in the Read Me file.

    YUKON  I still get a "cannot connect" error asking to verify the username and password or wait until the OpenMFG Server is less busy.

    System Error 'QPSQL: Unable to connect'

    username: mfgadmin

    password: mfgadmin

    using server: 127.0.0.1

    database: acct

    port: 5432

    Does the server need to be started manually? I saw it the startup items and I restarted, but no change

    RTERP  Yukon it looks as though the install did not proprly complete on your system the settings are incorrect. Try these settings out and see if it helps:

    server: localhost

    database: demodb

    Port: 5432

    The PostgreSQL server should start on its own.
