Ishido is a puzzle board game comprising of a set of 72 stones and a game board of 96 squares.

Every stone has two attributes: a color and a symbol. There are six colors and six symbols in each stone set, thus creating 36 unique stones. Since each stone comes in a pair, there are therefore 72 stones in each stone set.

• The rule of Single-sided match : 1 point
  Place your stone next to the stone of the same color or pattern.
• The rule of Two-sided match : 2 points
  Place your stone next to the stone of the same color and next to the other stone of the same pattern.
• The rule of Three-sided match : 4 points
  Place your stone to the point surrounded by three stones. These stones on the board must consist of two stones of the same color and a stone of the same pattern (or a stone of the same color and two stones of the same pattern).
• The rule of Four-sided match is called 4-way : 8 points + bonus
  Place your stone to the point surrounded by four stones. These stones on the board must consist of two stones of the same color and two stones of the same pattern.
