CSCHOOLLAND  Great little tool, but still needs stabilization. Active tagging ends up stalling if no lyrics can be found, and the program insists on reverting to showing me lyrics for the selected song rather than what's actually playing. It just doesn't switch nicely between view current, view selection, active tagging, and edit text. Also, if no song (or a radio station) is playing, a never-ending array of error dialogues pop up when in active tagging mode. Very frustrating.

All I need is a program that fetches and displays the lyrics of whatever song i'm listening to, and perhaps occasionally find lyrics for a batch of songs. That's all. Get Lyrical seems able to do that much of the time, but there are just too many niggles that keep cropping up.

SKELLMAN  It works, but it's a mess--it fills the lyrics field with multiple "Notice: Uninitialized string offset: 4 in /Applications/Get Lyrical.app/Contents/Resources/go.php on line 182" lines and variations, with the actual lyrics at the bottom of the field.

BILL B  Just used it to find lyrics for The Beach Boys, 'Sounds of Summer'. Get Lyrical v 2.4 found lyrics for 24 of 30 titles, but added an ad for lyricswiki.com at the end of each, which I deleted.

VERYCARLA  I just ran it on the album, "Octopus" by The Bees. It found three of ten songs, and two of the lyrics it copied were from hardcore gangsta rap songs, and all three lyrics were wrong.

If I might suggest a feature - please give users the option of selecting from a list of potential matches rather than letting the app stop at the first one it comes to.

ALJUK  I've just tested it on a 10-song LP. It can only find 4 of them even though all 10 are easily available on the site (lyricwiki.org). But at least those 4 weren't Billy Jean. This will be a useful app once it works.

SEVENONLINE  Doesnt find 90% of the tracks i tell it to add lyrics to, and the ones it does find are all wrong anyway.

WILLIAMD  Funny, I am surprised that this app thinks that the lyrics to "All Along the Watchtower" by Dylan and by Hendrix are identical to "Billie Jean" by Michael Jackson.

What a waste of time.
