TUBO  Works very precisely and well - bought it.

No crashes. I was able to delete some faulty data in my film roll on the not jailbreaked iphone.

TUBO  No, absolutely not. The more remarkable is the working of this application. Look for further details on their site. Running well and fast. The problem I had was an apparently 'void' photo album in the phone. It was accessible from the syncing Mac, but NOT on the phone, all new photos became hidden immediately in an invalid album. There are a lot of similar complaints of other users. I didn't see this problem reappear under 3.1.2.

AESCHYLUS  What a lovely program - it works flawlessly. I bought it earlier in the expectation of getting an iPhone. Finally, I got the iPhone. Then I received an email from the developer telling me of an upgrade! So I installed the newer version and it has worked perfectly. It is also intuitive and an attractive program, as well.

About the only thing it cannot do is display the books I've purchases through various apps, but then again, they are in proprietary formats.

This will be my go-to program for editing the files on my iPhone and copying to and from the iPhone when I need more than iTunes.

Great program.

GARY30  I bought this inexpensively as part of bundle, thinking it might be useful someday. It turned out to be a "must have" application yesterday when I bought a new 3GS to replace my 2G iPhone. I was able to transfer all my Notes and extract some SMS messages which I would not have been able to recreate without hours of work. Also, you can add all kinds of text into Notes without having to type it all in on the iPhone.

I used it to copy music off my iPhone to my computer, mainly to confirm that the feature works as advertised. It does. I can imagine this being very handy in some situations where I erased a song in error on my Mac, etc.

Auto-update from 2.2.1 to 2.2.2 worked flawlessly on my machine.

ACHIM2  Auto-update doesn't work - it downloads for quite a while but it stays at the old version.

But otherways nice app. Price is high - I wouldn't have bought it if it hadn't been in a bundle.

XPLICIT  This tool is a great help. Backup your music in case it's lost on your computer, check sms in case there's something you think is weird on your bill and so on - just a few of it's features. The update policy is a little weird though, but anyway, great app.

GLOBETROTTERDK  PhoneView is the best app I have tried for transferring files to or accessing files from an iPhone. This program just saved my bacon after a problematic upgrade to Leopard. PhoneView was the only way that I could get my contacts off my iPhone and use them to restore my contacts on my G5 (PPC).

I wish the same thing were possible with calendars. I really need that feature now as well.

JAN13  PhoneView 2.0.3. is Small application nothing fancy but works absolutely PERFECT compare to Mark/Space sync which is a way behind its advertisement obviously Mark/Space is a joke!

The only thing I do not like about PhoneView 2.0.3. is font in text notes.

DOC RENAUD  Easy to use and handy.

That annoys me is if you want to copy a note to your iPhone, you must set the Passcode to OFF on the phone. Unlocking the screen is not enough...

Of course you have to set it again to ON after the copy.

Could you possibly add an option to do this temporarily within MegaPhone interface ?
