    TATONKA  too poor that it does not emulate the "original" iphone behaviour. it still uses flash...and it has not the iphone-user-agent...

    SCHMELDING  This isn't really an emulator and shouldn't be used for site development. It's more like a toy. It's using the same webkit of whatever version of Safari you have installed.

    MOOFTHESTOOF  Good idea and useful, but the scale is way off. I have an iPhone and websites appear much smaller on a real iPhone.

    MACUPDATE ADMIN  From the developer's site:

    "Why is iPhoney so big on my screen?

    iPhoney is pixel accurate, meaning that it has exactly the same number of pixels on its screen as iPhone. However, your display probably packs between 72 and 96 pixels in every inch, where iPhone will have 160 pixels. So iPhoney looks about twice the size of iPhone, but shows exactly the same website content as you'll see on iPhone."

    MOOFTHESTOOF  I posted a couple photos on my Flickr page so you can see what I'm talking about. Text and layouts don't match, and can get really mismatched on some pages.

    ALJUK  Very cool.

    It would be nice if it could open up local pages (ie. html pages on my hard-drive) while I'm developing them, without my needing to put them into my Home folder Sites folder and switch on Personal Web Sharing, but that's a small gripe.
