SBCHAVEL Wonderful menubar data app. Two recommended improvements: (1) menubar font customization and more elegant rendering, (2) ability to subordinate all graphs and data to one menu item, so that clicking on, e.g., date and time brings up or gives access to all the different data and graphs. DOUG ENGELBART iStat Menu is what Apple should have implemented a dozen years ago. Now I finally can diplay date/time in the alphanumerical form "YYYY-MMDD-HHmm". This was impossible in Apple's "date & time" which can only show the time in the MenuBar, but not the date (try it)! Shame, Apple! :—) iStat's network bandwidth display is essential and beautiful, too, you can even change the bandwidth layout by dragging the ^/v-symbol etc.pp. And iStat's disk eject menu is also better than Apple's... ROD76 Love this application & its iPhone companion! I would recommend this to anyone who wants a system monitor that's always in view and uses very little system resources. As an added bonus its menu items link to the system applications they relate to. iStat Menus looks absolutely amazing, any features that a competitor might have over it can not overcome its polish and quality. A couple of things that would make it better would be an option for a Blinking Time Separator (for the Clock) and an option for combined Fahrenheit & Celsius (for the Temp Section). That would be a great way to get used to Celsius if you're seeing it next to the units you learned in school and relate to. (Version 2.0)

DJCZ When you click on the date and time to see the pop-down calendar, the calendar updates properly, but the date above the calendar does not. Today is 09/22 and it's saying it is Monday, September 21, 2009. As for menu indicators... for the disk activity, instead of "ACT", I'd like to see "DSK" added as an option. ACT could refer to disk activity, network activity or cpu activity. Also, for the network activity, there are only icons that can be placed in the menu, a "NET" added to the list would be great. Other than that, this little gadget is great. Kudos to iSlayer! (Version 2.0)

REVCO Hmmm. On my Quad G5 activity monitor lists iStatLocal as a PowerPC (64 bit) app using 6.58GB of Virtual Memory. (Version 2.0)

DAGWOOD iStat 2.0 Calendar does not update the full date in the area above the calendar in Snow Leopard. To correct this, I have to remove the Calendar from the menubar and put it back again. This has to be done every day. (Version 2.0)

GARY30 Excellent. Lots of info taking up very little space! Would like to see the Icon Only as an option as in previous versions, rather than Icon plus Text. Just a quibble, though. (Version 2.0)

DR. GIRLFRIEND Another free treasure. One of the few apps to win a coveted spot in my menubar. Unlike some of the other system monitoring apps, iStat Menus has a lovely, logical interface that packs just the right amount of info without looking too cluttered. I love the way you can configure it to show exactly how much or little info you choose. iStat makes it easy to tell at a glance if my RAM is getting too hot -- which happened to me just last week, in fact. Turns out I had a couple of bad 2GB sticks. Thanks iStat! My donation is on the way :) Tested and working great so far in Snow Leopard. (Version 2.0)
