EDITOR NOTES
TotalTunes Control has been discontinued.
DESCRIPTION
TotalTunes Control gives you control of iTunes. You'll be able to control everything in iTunes, such as player controls, repeats mods, shuffle mod...

TotalTunes Control gives a lot of customizable shortcuts to control iTunes, search for a song, rate a song...

However, instead of other controllers, TotalTunes Control allows to quickly select a Playlist/Movie/TV Show. It means that you won't need to enlarge iTunes to select a new playlist.

iTunes is too large... close its window and open TotalTunes Control, it makes your life easier than ever.

WHAT'S NEW

HAL0THANE  I was one of the first paid users of TTC -- still using it, actually -- but I suppose time has come to switch, again...

So, which shall it be... Bowtie (again), Cover Stream, or Ecoute?

WALRUSCP  This is abandonware. The developer's own site states:

"Warning! TotalTunes Control is no longer developed. Please think twice before buying it!"

Stay away. I know for a fact that the lyrics importing feature no longer works with iTunes 8.2.

DNELSON  Does not fully support iTunes 8. Also, the developer's website is as good as dead.

FOUF  Great soft, easy to use, awesome, light (you don't need to care about it), well designed ...

A (very) little thing : it would be great to have a better lyrics search.

JIMWICK  There is a "new" version almost every 24 hours.

I'm tired of being part of the debugging panel. The developer needs to get a complete and stable app BEFORE putting it out to users.

WOLFEATSWORLD  I don't agree. This is a young developer, and we all have to start some place.

Do you guys agree with that?

And besides, his program is an outstanding application for our platform.

Outstanding.

JIMWICK  Young programmers need to learn good programming habits. I was taught that I should never release any code of mine until I had it as perfect and bug-free as I could make it.

That meant holding back the release until I had done a proper job on it.

I suggest the same for young (and old) programmers.

EAGLELOUK  @Jimwick : You're right. But I'm very stressed when a user tells me that there is a new problem. Sometimes it comes from a specific Mac. Now it's holydays and I think I'm going to take my time before releasing a new version 8-)

CYBERATOMIC  Louka,

Don't mind them. If they have a stable release that they're currently using, then fine... they can "choose" to stay put at that version.

I for one, like seeing a developer push things out as soon as possible. The amount of development that this app had undergone is phenomenal. I remember this app when it was barely half of what it is today.

Keep up the great work, and feel free to push your updates whenever you like.

If anything, maybe go to a beta version system - where the latest and greatest go out as a beta designation?

Either way, I love seeing apps get updated like yours - it shows that you are motivated and eager to improve your application. This is WAY more than can be said of most applications nowadays.

EAGLELOUK  Thanks you very much CyberAtomic =)

I'm currently searching for a new interface and new features for TotalTunes Control v3.0. It should be much better and faster than the actual one, and free for current users.

I'm just searching a way to implement iTunes without lags.
