    VIN  Like JWD below, I cannot successfully scan any location - not the default /Applications or Developer, nor if I add a location myself. The scan operation goes by in the blink of an eye and the list remains empty.

    THOM "TEKCOR" MCGRATH  The two posts here are the only reports I've ever heard of that happening. Of course, there is likely to be more.

    I suspect it's something odd about Spotlight which isn't returning any results. It's likely not this simple, but you haven't specified to keep your root path private or somehow disabled Spotlight - have you?

    FLASH1296  Clean uncluttered friendly interface.

    v. 1.2 hardly worked, if at all, but this updated version performs as advertised.

    Lots of room for adding features.

    JWD  I was stoked to see this application because I transferred a lot of programs from my old PB to my new MBP, and need to take stock of what's Universal and what isn't.

    Problem is, it doesn't work for me. I tried running it several times and it won't pick up any applications. When I hit the rescan button, the progress sheet pops up for a millisecond and then it thinks it's done, but the list is still blank. I've verified it's searching the right folders. What's going on here?

    FAHLMAN  This program does exactly what it claims to do, show the architecture of an application. Did you expect it to surprise you with something extra?

    Also, just because the program works on your Intel-based Mac doesn't mean it's architecture is Intel native. It may be PCC code that is being translated to Intel-compatible code using Rosetta.

    MORJOVY  it just shows if my applications are intel- or ppc-compatible. really i dont know why i need this utility. i have an intel mac, so all my aplications support intel, because they work properly. maybe this program can do something else but i dont see any of other functions, and the help section is unavailable

    MACNERD1984  What an interesting and helpful little doodad. Does exactly what it says on the tin - Easy to use, nice clean interface, simple to understand and with the option to specify search paths for applications. I can see exactly which apps my MacBook Pro is running natively and which it's having to use Rosetta to run. I love software like this. It's free too - Can't ask for more than that.
