I used to big a fan of 'QuickImageCM' which unfortunately is only PowerPC, and doesn't look like being Universal Binary any time soon. Like QuickImage this opens your images in a window but unlike the latter it doesn't offer the plethora of editing options that made it a great replacement of the OS's Preview application.( If you don't mind your entire screen being 'hijacked' then you could also try the Contextual menu launched 'ImageViewerCM' - $10) Apart from showing all images in a folder and not just the ones selected, which is annoying not having a preference to switch it off, you should also be able to have all the pictures 'landscape and portrait' show in the same sized window rather than - when a landscape image is selected it forces the window to near full-screen and is not resizable. Lastly the ability to double click an image to show a thumbnail of all the images within the one window would be also very useful. Obviously still developing - and if it were to incorporate some basic image editing/tagging and most importantly IMHO the ability to move files ( preference for user defined folders ) - It could be a great productivity tool in the future.
