Picturesque is an application designed to make images look gorgeous for the web.
With an animated "drag and drop" style interface, Picturesque makes images gorgeous with tasteful effects like 3D perspective, reflection, glow, shadow, curve, and stroke in less time than it takes to open Photoshop.
Picturesque can also beautify images in batch, and with the ability to resize, crop, and apply effects on a whole folder of images, Picturesque is an an easy way to make sophisticated thumbnails and refined full sized images.
Picturesque is the final touch to make your images perfect.

MAULRAT I really do like this program and I use it quite often ... that being said, I'm still using version 1 (1.0.5 to be exact) because the output from version 2 has (and still is) always been blurry to me compared to version 1 ... I don't understand why the image should be blurred when these "filters" are basically edge filters ... I believe this problem was supposed to be fixed in earlier versions but I'm just not seeing it.If the dev reads these feedbacks and is interested I'd be glad to provide some side by side comparisons. SJSW Often it's not about "how much" an app can do, but rather how well it does what it does, how fast it does what it does, and how easy it does what it does. In all three cases Picturesque is primo and IMHO has no equal (and I own many apps of this kind). As a Web Designer/Developer this is an indispensable tool. Highly recommended. (Version 2.1.5)

-When you do a Cmd I from the program the version number says 2.1.1? But when you launch the program and you select "About Picturesque" the version number is 2.1.3? I believe 2.1.3 is the correct version number ;) but this possible could confuse some people when they browse the Finder searching for the most recent version. About the program self: 5 stars! Great price/value, very stable, regular updates with new functions and improvements, etc. One more thing: the Dutch translation is not very "OS X like" and contains also some small typo's. SUM1 Sorry but this little program is useless with these limited features. I got stuck with it in a bundle. Nice efforts though but not worth the price. (Version 2.1.3)

THOMASINA This app is a five-trick wonder with very little creative scope. A utility more than an app, really, as any precise cropping or resizing is best done elsewhere. It looks very beautiful and is fine as far as it goes, but $35 for a something that does so little is a bit steep. (Version 2.1.3)

TSANTEE I was impressed with version 1 but it didn't have enough going on to get me to buy a license. I'm pleased they have added to Picturesque so I bought the version 2 license. It is a snap to use and very elegant. I'd like the cropping feature to allow specific measurements so I won't be using it for cropping. Reflections with the 3D tilt don't look right to me so I probably won't use them together. Otherwise it's easy, fun, creative and fast. (Version 2.0)

MACINTOSH SAUCE I just want to tell everyone here my experience with this company. Quite a while ago, I purchased Picturesque 1.0 when they were offering lifetime free upgrades for a small additional fee (quite reasonable actually). Yesterday, I accidentally purchased an upgrade to Picturesque 2.0 for $12.95. I had completely forgot that I was going to get a free upgrade. This morning, in my e-mail, there was a free upgrade serial number. :) Just a while ago, I e-mailed Zac and he promptly refunded the accidental upgrade purchase through PayPal. When companies act like this one, that tells me they actually care about their customers. I wish more companies were like this... (Version 2.0)

K0GG A change of heart all round. Mr Cohan and Acqualia have given free upgrades to people who purchased after April 1st, 2008, including MacZot buyers. Thank you for this. (Version 2.0)
