A J BENAMU  I actually have tried it and can tell that it is useless for now, it doesn´t know how to deal with binaries, Newsreader are not only for text, there are thousands of binaries newsgroups.

So for now, as I said before, it is totally useless for a power user.

MALCOM  I'm sorry but nemo does not support binaries group and there will be not any planned support for them at this time. I've created it for text groups only as like MacSoup for example. A great binary newsgroup reader is Unison from Panic, and I don't think it's a great idea (at this time) spend time in making a concurrent program for a good existing program.

SCOTTISHWILDCAT  A bit strong, perhaps-- I consider myself a power user of usenet, and have never used a binary newsgroup in my life!

G7  Well, it looks good, but I cannot send anything. It says: "Cannot post in server: subject required", although I am certain I *do* have the subject entered. I remember contacting the developer about the same issue in one of the previous versions. It was fixed... but apparently the bug crawled out again.

Anyway, nemo has one great advantage over Thunderbird or Unison: when I click its icon, it just launches. Both Thunderbird and Unison jump in the Dock... and jump... and jump... before they actually manage to start up.

After trying several times, nemo finally realised I have the subject entered (clicking the subject and pressing the Enter key a few times seems to do the trick, not always though), allowing me to send the test article. However, the subject line was sent incorrectly and turned into total garbage.

Well... Nemo has clearly a long way to go before it turns into a useful newsreader. I'm not giving any rating, it would be unfair - it's still a beta version, after all.
