EAN  Works, but the GUI is clunky and it's missing some features (which I suspect are in the works). You can trigger playback from the keyboard, which is great, though one must resort to the mouse when quickly trying something out in different voices. Command keys would be nice here. The Apple Speech Synth has always had a hook for controlling the "speaking" speed. Is that gone? Do we now have CoreSpeech? Haven't been keeping up lately...

Aside from the Features and Ease of Use issues, Value and Stability were both great.

GERWINPHILIPPO  OSX already has this built in: Open terminal. Type : say . Done. What does this program do, other than let you click the button "say" instead of typing the word "say"?

DOC RENAUD  I find it very useful, as I'm not a native english speaker. Sometimes I wonder how to pronounce some word or another. Instead of asking someone, I just trigger Verbalise and here comes the answer.

Very simple, works perfectly, and free. What else do you want ?

Thanks.
