Thank you for contacting CallWave Customer Care. CallWave is no longer offering an International SMS service. If you have a CallWave account, you can no longer purchase international credits, but you can still send SMS messages free to the US and Canada. However, in some countries, we had to terminate accounts due to security concerns and apologize to those impacted by this decision. Feel free to contact us for further assistance and include previous correspondences when replying so we can help you better. CallWave Customer Care Representative. --------------------------------------- (Version 3.7)

AKROBAT Been using this for about a year or more. In the beginning you were able to send unlimited SMS messages if you lived Stateside (I don't). International customers received 5 free SMS's per day... not bad. Then the international freebies got dropped but the cost of the texts (240 for $20) is pretty impressive and I've been using it regularly... until today. Locked out of my widget and account. Terminated for reasons unknown. Bit weird actually, since I've loads of credit on this thing. An email and/or explanation would have been nice... (Version 3.7)

TODD2000 I sent an email to that address, but have not received a reply. Do you have any idea why it wouldn't be working? I have Virgin Mobile if it makes a difference. (Version 3.7)

CALLWAVE_INC COMMENTARY2002: We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with the change in Callwaves SMS service. Unfortunately, due to overwhelming demand and costs, we are not able to keep international SMS sends free beyond the beta testing phase. Our service still provides the convenience of sending text messages from your computer and our flat fee international SMS rates are among the lowest available. Users can still send 10 free international messages. To send more you can purchase credits by clicking the message in the widget or going to callwave.com/credits (Version 3.6.1)

COMMENTARY2002 This widget has been a tremendous asset in family communications for me, but recently it has stopped working as indicated on the Callwave.com site. I am no longer able to send ANY international texts for free, not the five that were previously alotted or the ten now supposedly available. I have sent multiple notes to Callwave support but have not yet received any response. Any help from Callwave on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! (Version 3.6.1)

CALLWAVE M Chang: Your CallWave authentication and PIN information lives within the widget, so when you "activate" the widget you are logging in and you will be able to see your text log without re-entering your PIN on CallWave.com. If you want the widget password protected on your desktop for security reasons, click on the "i" button in the bottom right, the widget will flip over and you can click Logout. Then anyone who wants to use the widget will need to log in with a mobile number and PIN. I hope this helps and thanks for using CallWave. (Version 3.6.1)

M CHANG Callwave, you assertion is incorrect on my computer. I can go to your site, click on Logout , and get to the Login page. I then close the window, go to Safari > Preferences > Cookies and delete all cookies that have Callwave in the URL. I "Empty Cache" in Safari. Quit out of Safari. When I activate widget and click "Archive," it takes me to my logged in Callwave page with all of my messages listed. DEFINITELY A SECURITY ISSUE. (Version 3.6.1)

CALLWAVE Your CallWave text log is password protected. Even though our current system does not allow for deleting messages, your messages are not public and can't be accessed without your mobile number and your PIN. If your messages show when you click on "account" from the widget, CallWave is logging you in using cookies. You will see a logout{your email} message at the top right of your screen. If you are using a public or shared computer, be sure to log out of all password protected applications before leaving the computer unattended. (Version 3.6.1)
