MDAY108 I have tried every video downloader available for mac and this is the ONLY one I have found that works consistently well. I also find the fact that it comes with a plugin for my browser to be a real plus. On top of the software working really well, the creator of Videobox is highly responsive and completely dedicated to giving only the best customer service. I recommend this fine piece of work wholeheartedly. (Version 2.7.4)

The zip file isn't tagged with the whole version number, however, the app in the image is the correct version (I just checked with Get Info).

PNN314 No, Videobox 2.8.4 has the same problem: Safari 4 won't startup because of VideoBox!!! Uninstalling and reistalling Videobox does not solve the problem!!! Videobox needs to be updated. (Version 2.8.4)

MISHA Try 2.8.4 again... they rev'd the build (but kept the version #) and say it should work. If it still doesn't, contact the devs. (Version 2.8.4)

WLESTER67 I followed Foxstrong's advice and it worked. Now I can finally start Safari. At MacRumors:Forum, the developer says to download the Videobox 2.8.4, and he says that it is free. The website wants $15.00. (Version 2.8.4.1)

MISHA The update is free. The app itself costs $15 if you don't already have a copy. (Version 2.8.4.1)

JFM No longer working since I upgraded to Mac OS X 10.5.7 today. Quits upon launch, and Safari plugin failure message: "SIMBL Error - Failed to load the TastyAppsAVPlugin plugin. *** -[NSProxy doesNotRecognizeSelector:respondsToSelector:] called!" But I assume this will be fixed soon. Until now, it was working all fine, and the problem is obviously connected to the latest Apple update - it was still working fine yesterday. (Version 2.8.3)
