m3u2mp3 downloads the MP3 files listed inside "streaming" M3U files. This app is based on a Perl script, but provides full drap-and-drop support, as well as the ability to associate M3U files with this app (allowing double-click download of the M3U contents).
DOUBLEBACK It does what it says it does. Pretty simple, just drag an .m3u playlist onto the app icon. It's a real timesaver.
It's GUI is probably a little awkward for some users, as it displays lines of text showing progress, instead of download bars or some other graphics, but it doesn't really matter since it's just a drag-and-drop, ready set go app, and doesn't require any interaction. (Version 1.08)
Looks like that M3U contains http://www.wefunkradio.com/mirror/stream/2007-02-09/458, which gets redirected to http://wefunk.codron.org/WeFunk_Show_458_2007-02-09.mp3.
So, that webserver is using "redirection" and isn't listing the direct MP3 files in the M3U. I've released rev 1.08 to fix this bug, but the resulting MP3 files after redirection may not have an MP3 extension.
This example would be saved as just "458" instead of the correct "WeFunk_Show_458_2007-02-09.mp3". This is a limit of curl, though (the underlying download tool). (Version 1.07)
CELESTIALWARRIOR Again, another case of release spamming. Please, save multiple bug fixes or features for one release instead of bumping this app to the top of the MU list every time you fix a spelling error, or some other minor flaw.
This is hogging valuable page real-estate from apps that I might actually want to use. I've seen this app nearly every day for the past week. I've already decided I have no use for it. Stop shoving it back in my face, please.
I'm sure it's a great application, so I'm not giving it a bad rating, I just hate it when developers spam updates on MacUpdate. (Version 1.0.9)
HYPERT Sorry about that! I released rev 1.07 as the first release last week, followed by a bug fix (1.08) and a feature enhancement (1.09). I didn't think this was "spamming" as this is how I release SW at work too (as soon as possible), but I can see your point. There are some packages on MacUpdate that I don't use and I don't like seeing multiple releases for them either.
Next planned feature is support for XSPF playlists, but it will probably take a week until I get around to it anyway... (Version 1.0.9)

CELESTIALWARRIOR Thank you for replying. Most developers would have just shrugged my words off.
It's good to see developers acknowledging the community. (Version 1.0.9)
