DESCRIPTION
TechTool Protogo... Do you have an old iPod lying around? Or perhaps a small portable hard drive or flash drive? Why not turn it into the ultimate Macintosh diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tool? With TechTool Protogo it's easy. Protogo allows you to quickly create a bootable diagnostic device that contains Micromat's most powerful tools as well as any of your own utilities you may wish to install. You can then use this device to boot, check, maintain, and repair Macintosh computers as needed. Like our award-winning product, TechTool Protege, you will have a device that allows you to carry all the tools you'll need in your shirt pocket. But unlike Protege, you'll have plenty of space left over for a multitude of additional utilities as well as ample drive space when you need to recover data.

FARDILHA  Well, more than 4 months and still unable to use this to repair my mac and there's simply no word about why Protogo isn't updated.

PEDRO FARDILHA  I'll refrain myself from reviewing this right now, or probably I would be a little unfair.

But I can tell you one thing:

Let's just hope that you never need their support assistance!!

Protogo doesn't work on my new MacBook Pro so I went to their forum area.

There I read that they were aware of that and that I should contact the sales department.

Their sales department said that I should register myself on their website and AFTER that I needed to register my product.

Only then I could ask for help.

Ok, that made (some) sense so I went there and registered myself and guess what I found after that?

Protogo is NOT available to be registered.

Again I ask for help by email and they said they would register it for me.

Fine! I send my serial number as asked and my user name and waited for the registration process.

      Guess what?

They gave me a new registration username but still no option to register Protogo and still no option to try to find out why I need help using my help application!!!

      Let's see how it ends!
