S0ULGUY Frenzic is a very addictive puzzle game. It keeps me playing. The game play is fast and original for a puzzle game. sound and graphics is very pleasing. I like the minimalistic interface and the cool music. the sound effects is non obtrusive which is good because i usually have other stuff going on while playing. I play this game when im listening to a pod cast or internet radio. It doesnt take me much to focus and i don't get distracted. Its also good for just passing time. overall rating 5/5 (Version 1.2.1)

CG I also agree the game needs a keyboard interface. Hard core gamers can figure out piece orientation and I guarantee scores will shoot up if a mouse is not used. I cannot think of anyone that is a proficient typer, or great gamer, that prefers to use a darn mouse for anything. I am not sure what "extensive testing" means (as posted by the devs in a reply) but I think the wrong folks were obviously used to test. So please, add a keyboard interface to the game. Other then this one issue, I love the game. (Version 1.2.1)

MKLLOW I'd like to try a key based version too... Things get too fast for the mouse, and I can't get too seem to get over 2000 points... frustrating ;) (Version 1.1)

HENRIKTEKNIK I highly wish I could use 7, 8, 9 and 4, 5, 6 on the numerical keyboard, to place the current piece in one of the Upper Left, Upper, Upper Right and Lower Left, Lower and Lower Right slots, respectively. Or even better, being able to assign my own keys to place the current piece. (Version 1.1)

IFWEBMASTER After *extensive* testing on our end before the game was launched, mapping keys to the six outer circles proved extremely frustrating and caused more problems than it solved. The problem isn't the keys, its the player. We found that when a player would go to press a key to place a piece, they would select the key based on the *orientation of the piece* and NOT the position of the circle it was going into. This caused a kind of "brain short-circuit" in the player and he/she had to end up greatly thinking about what key to press in order to place the piece correctly. It definately was not as good a solution as the selection method we finally decided on. We were worried that such key mapping would make the game too easy, but it actually made it MUCH more difficult. (Version 1.1)

AMBERV Have you tried using the mouse in conjunction with the keyboard? This is my preferred way of playing. I use the keyboard to enact bonuses, and the mouse for all placement. You can zip right to the correct spot in one click. If you turn centre clicking on, you can skip pieces that cannot be played. (Version 1.1)

BDOG I love this game, very fun and addicting. The only issue i have is the click seem to be late, by maybe a third of a second. This causes me to miss the timer many times. (Version 1.0.2)

I am struggling hard not to buy this game. Like previous commenter, I also think that the pricing model for this game is a bit extreme. Admittedly, I really dig the online highscore system; it's excellently designed and I think it plays a big role in the fun, with a game like this, but the price you have to pay, in order to participate, is... well, a bit much. This game is radical! So radical, that I wouldn't hesitate to rank it evenly - if not before - the previous king in obsessive casual games; the Palm pilot version (not the computer ditto) of Bejeweled 2. Whereas Frenzic has a very different plot than Bejeweled 2, its addiction-factor is just the same; you can't stop playing! Design, look and feel of Frenzic is top notch. The sound and music fits very well in with the rest, adding a lot of immersive drama to the game. And again, the online high score system looks and operates very (!) smoothly. I like how they didn't make it just a highscore list, per-se, but actually added some further depth to it, by means of making it more 'community-like', where you can add and compare your score with friends, etc. This game manages to carve out its own, unique little space, in a genre that is stiflingly overpopulated with tons of different casual games trying to appeal their audience. Albeit, what might throw a spanner in the works for Frenzic, is its aggressive pricing model, which, if lowered a couple of bucks, could help popularity (and sales alltogether) rise to epic propotions...! Now, I might prove wrong just as well. (I'm not a marketing expert.) For all I know, I'm still struggling to resist the urge to splurge and buy the game, without blinking, now and here. GRYPHONENT Yeah... nice game. Well done. Maybe worth $10. Would have to think hard about $15. However, what truly annoys me is the audacity to charge $10 IN ADDITION TO THE REGISTRATION FEE for a one year subscription to their highscore server. So, if you don't keep on forking out those $10 on top you won't be able to post your highscore. Pretty dumb... I'm back using Quinn. I've donated $10 for that and feel it was money well spent. As for Frenzic... yes... I might register... but only when they change their pricing structure. (Version 1.0)

IFWEBMASTER Sorry to hear your disappointment regarding Frenzic's pricing structure Gryph. A few points to note: A truly original game like Frenzic costs much more to design, develop and test than does one that is based on a previous concept like Tetris. This is also why Quinn is free, because they do not own the rights to the name or the game play and hence cannot charge for it. In addition, Frenzic's online scores, stats and community are at least 3 steps above that of Quinn or almost any other Mac based internet game of this type. Plans are in the works to make that community much more dynamic and rich as well. If players would like to be a part of this community for life, then we suggest purchasing the Guru bundle. If they are interested in playing mainly against their own previous high scores, then they can go with the standard Frenzic which *still* includes 6 months of free online access to stats, friends and more. Several options for different kinds of players. Thanks for listening, and hopefully one day, your support. (Version 1.1)

IFWEBMASTER One of the challenges of the game is to find open slots for the pie pieces you are given. Since you cannot rotate pieces, you must plan ahead where to place them and try to keep space open as much as possible. The longer you go without clearing a circle, the more likely it will be that you will not be able to place a piece. If every piece could be placed, you would never lose a life and the game would go on forever ;-) (Version 1.0)

JEFF LERCH Extremely frustrating when it gives you pieces you can't possibly use. (Version 1.0)

GAZMAN I agree - what are you supposed to do with an 'up' piece if all your pies already have an 'up' piece? (Version 1.0)

AMBERV Um, guys? That is part of the strategy. You are rating a game down because your strategy needs work? Figuring out how to keep as many spots open as possible while getting bonuses is the game. If you fail at keeping spots open, don't blame the software! That's part of the challenge. It is like fussing that the dice are random in Monopoly. (Version 1.1)
