    BURRO  I utterly despise social networking sites of almost all kinds -- I don't really care who else is listening to the same artists.

    YET I am enjoying this plug-in for the chance to turn on to lesser-known artists I might enjoy.

    THECAUSE  The ability to see instantly related artists in your itunes window makes this a much more useful tool than its competitor lastfm which lives in the menubar. However, the fact that it has to be a sidebar and remain in a certain position creates difficulty especially when you need information in the artist field.

    ERIC CALDWELL  I have been using iLike now for 3-4 months and it is a truly great addition to iTunes. The developer of the Mac version is the owner/developer at Cocoatech (Pathfinder) and IMHO, the software is well written.

    iLike helps non-labled artists get some main-stream exposure that they would not normally get. The iLike website is headed in the similar direction of sites like kornerstoeent.com. Another up and coming site for non-labled artists.
