AudioLobe allows you to independently alter the playback speed and pitch rate of audio files. If you are a musician or interested in audio this means you can slow down complex sequences of audio without the vocal or instruments sounding unintelligible.
Great for learning difficult notes in a musical sequence. For example, you could set a section of the audio to loop at whatever playback speed you want and easily follow what is happening, without having pitch changes. AudioLobe 3 allows files to be saved with altered play speeds, and a major update to the interface.
DENNISMORIARTY C'mon!! A demo that only allows 30 seconds of a song to be played? Try being a little more seductive and confident in your demo generosity. Sheesh. (Version 3.8)
BUCHACHO Play pause are separate controls, so you cannot hit spacebar to stop/start. Makes the program unusable if you are trying to play with an instrument.
ARROYODORADO It is somehow strange: this little App seems to be around for a while, because we already have version 2.4. But still it refuses to add songs by drag and drop, cannot save the processed material, has very coarse loop functions, some misleading icons and some functions even hidden in menus that one would rather expect in the "one-window"-interface. Why that?! Despite of that, it seems to work good, as far as I could test it. But I won't buy it (yet). (Version 2.4)
ACWOLF This thing appears to work fine, but the quality when I tried it was severely worse than the competition (Amazing Slowdowner). Simply put, this is a program that comes new to an existing field and fails to improve in any way that I could find over what already exists. (Version 2.1)
ENDE42 Well at this pricetag (for me at least) the only value of this app is my fellow posters pointing me to the QT AV-settings. THANK YOU!
I can think of professionals (like writers who transscript interviews) buying this app for the better audio quality and interface, though. (Version 1.3)
