DESCRIPTION

The JumpBox for vtiger CRM is a virtual appliance that contains and instance of the vtiger CRM system pre-installed and pre-configured as a virtual machine that runs on VirtualBox, VMware or Parallels. vtiger is a PHP web application and the JumpBox allows you to use it without having to deal with PHP, MySQL or any of the other dependencies that are required. You just run it on virtualization software and you're able to put it work for users on your local network.

vTiger is an open source web-based customer relationship management system that competes with applications like Saleslogix, Goldmine, SugarCRM and Salesforce.com. It allows you to track leads and contacts with customers and has a windows plugin that allows you to integrate directly with MS Office. This JumpBox includes vTiger 5.0.4.

WHAT'S NEW
Version 1.1.4:
  • This is a maintainence upgrade. The included version of vTiger has not changed.
  • A number of improvements have been made in the JumpBox administration portal. These include improvements to SSL mode and the backup system.
  • Restoring from 1.0 and JumpBox backups should work.

NYMPHE  Installed, works fine. It was very easy to set up. I couldn't test it for a long time, but it seems very fast to me.

In a small company with 10-20 people, it should be very useful, because you are going to save a lot of time without installing linux, mysql or something like that.
