I just wanted to warn anyone against any of the A2 Flash (Slideshow Photogallery System) products. There is no polite way of saying this: they are a complete rip off. I recently wanted to dress up the slideshows on my artists site recently and, for a number of reasons, had to do it in a bit of a hurry. More fool me I opted to purchase A2 Flash Builder and Composer . Composer is supposed to be an application whereby you design your own template for slideshow layouts which are then available for use in Builder to output the finished slideshow. To cut a long story short, within a matter of days I had a series of malfunctions each for which I sent an email (four in all) to the so-called support dept. and have never gotten a reply back. So now both applications are completely useless not only that but the Add-On Pack (a plug-in) I bought wouldnÂ’t even install, again no reply to my emails. There are a couple of other alternatives out there: Slideshow Pro and SWFÂ’n Slide by Vertical Moon. It depends on what youÂ’re looking for , Slideshow Pro would be excellent for Photographers for my purposes SWFÂ’n Slide (Pro version) worked very well without any problems whatsoever. The Vertical Moon site has a written tutorial on embedding the finished slideshow into a site, IÂ’m no expert and I managed that without any difficulty.
