DESCRIPTION
With Temporis you can create stunning timelines for print, web sites, documents, presentations, and more. Timelines have traditionally been easiest to create on a Mac with graphics applications, even though such applications weren't designed to keep track of timeline data. With the drag-and-drop ease of Temporis, you can create a complete, customized timeline document in no time at all. Adding events is as easy as 'drawing' them in place. Temporis' timeline property controls are always ready at hand, making it easy to give your timeline a personal touch.
WHAT'S NEW
Version 1.11 addresses some minor Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard incompatibilities.

BARTAS TECHNOLOGIES  HERVé 5: Could you clarify what you mean by 'offensive'? I'm sure you know all about exchange rates, etc. so I'm wondering if the problem you encountered was that you missed the "Select your Currency" option on our web store where you can select your own currency to see the price reflected with current exchange rates. If you meant something else, please elaborate: I ask so that we can potentially fix a problem or make something more clear.

HERVé 5  I mean, 1€ = 1,25$ currently, this is what all paying services I use do apply and what I'm used to, and a paying service that manages to *reverse* the coefficient is definitely offensive (and takes 50% over your price).

I am indeed satisfied with Temporis, I see you work a lot since you just issued a second upgrade in one month, but your pay service, or your bank, steals customers when it comes to foreign exchange rates.

BARTAS TECHNOLOGIES  Since Bartas is based in the US (as is eSellerate) the default currency is US Dollars. Regardless of whether the ratio is given in USD to EUR or EUR to USD, the correct price (when you select your native currency) is still reflected *before* you check out and is accurate. Given those facts, I'm still not sure I understand your complaint.

HERVé 5  I checked out in $, without even thinking about it, as I usually do. I was confident. I was wrong. + 50%.

Again may I state I appreciate your software, but I maintain my opinion about your paysystem. I won't comment anymore.

BARTAS TECHNOLOGIES  After speaking with an eSellerate engineer (the ecommerce provider Bartas uses), I'm wondering if you have accounted for the VAT:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Value_added_tax

Such a wild difference (50%?!) simply does not show up and this can be publicly verified by anyone reading this discussion.

If you respond to contact@bartastechnologies.com with your order number, I'll be happy to take a closer look. Other than that, all I can say is the price reflected in Euros is absolutely 100% correct.

BARTAS TECHNOLOGIES  For anyone interested, after speaking with the customer it was discovered that the Temporis license in question was sold by MacUpdate during a promotional period, and not through the Bartas Technologies web store. If you purchased a Bartas product through MacUpdate and have questions about the pricing, please contact MacUpdate directly as the transaction was conducted through their point-of-sale system.

Whew! What a fun ride! :-)

SPLUNK23  Great interface. Would love to use this on a regular basis, if it were possible to use images in my timelines.
