SANS DIEU RIEN  Puzzle games are a dime a dozen, and even worse are spin-offs of other games. However, Diamond Detective, although very reminiscent of the ever popular BeJeweled, is not the typical rehash of the same old stuff. They have added variety such as different board layouts, special tiles, and breathed new life with a retro sleuth twist. By completing each level, the jewel thief has left a clue of some kind. When the levels are complete you then have to view the line-up, and with deductive reasoning, you try to nab the jewel thief. My kids and I love to watch each other play--the playability is very high! The artwork and music is very stylish. Now, if only I can convince my wife to play...Diamond Detective is the perfect example of what "spin offs" should be!
