DESCRIPTION
btpd-front is a simple btpd front-end. Btpd is the acronym for BitTorrent Protocol Daemon. BTPD is a bittorrent client consisting of a daemon and client commands, which can be used to read and/or manipulate the daemon state. The daemon is capable of running several torrents simultaneously and only uses one tcp port. It's fairly low on resource usage and should be perfect for file distribution sites. Efficient downloads and ease of use makes this client a good choice for the casual user as well.

BARONE ROSSO  Leopard Firewall

You need to aff btod to the Leopard Firewall.

Open Firewall preferences and clik on +.

In Finder type shift-command G and enter /usr/local/bin/ , drag btpd into firewall window opened by +.  (Version 0.13b0186)

STEVEN JAY COHEN  Yes, your icon can be considered funny. After about 5 minutes, it's shortcoming start to show itself.

1. You have no Azureus code in your application.

2. Being named BTPD Front, with the DAEMON abbreviated, the meaning of the daemon in the icon is lost.

I made a quick icon out of some OSS images that I hope you will take the time to consider:

http://sagefire.org/files/btpd-front-icons.zip

You will see that there is a CLI interface with something in FRONT of it. And, the thing in front of it is a downloading widget. Granted, it isn't perfect, but it actually describes your application better than b***-f***ing someone else's icon.   (Version 0.13b0185)

ROBERT  Hi, I've installed btpd versions many times in the past -- I do a full install each time with OS X installer since internal updating mechanism failed for me when I tried it. In the last two or three builds, the lower buttons in the GUI sidebar for starting/stopping the daemon are gone. Yesterday, I installed 160, and since then I've been getting perl locale errors in bash... ??  (Version 0.12b0160)
