IERIKA  I fell in love with it's beautiful interface. It's like an invoicing application that supports that can use barcode scanners, cash drawers, credit card swipe machine and receipt printers. Good for small or medium businesses. You can also keep track of your stocks. You can connect with 5 Macs. If you have mini grocery store that has 5 counters and 5 Macs, this a good choice. You can share the same database. And what's cool is the User accounts, you can define wether a user has a manager privileges or an employee. I love it. Even Mom can understand this super simple, uncomplicated, beautiful app.

I hope this app to be featured in MUPromo's.

GROUNDFLOORMUSIC  This application is still a work in progress in several important respects where it claims to be what it is not yet in fact. The "quicktours" are very impressive - and somewhat misleading. Be sure to check out checkout thoroughly before you buy. For my own needs, I reluctantly came to the conclusion that it could not be made to work.

I closely examined this application, hoping to use it in my CD shop. It does LOOK great, and in most regards seems very promising. Sad to say, though, in its present form, the application proved unsuitable, due to a single failing: it doesn't support multiple taxes in data imports.

If like me you have a large, pre-existing database, and must import records for new items on a regular basis, this flaw renders the application essentially worthless.

I also want to say that my experience in communicating with the developer was mixed at best. I supplied numerous bug reports over a period of weeks, and at the outset of our email correspondence they seemed reasonably responsive. But after an unsuccessful attempt to impress upon them the importance in the North American market of support for mutilple taxes, the conversation grew progressively more one-sided. and in the end, once my demo version of the application had timed out (which I informed them of) they simply stopped responding to any message I sent. The last message I received from them was this:

> Sorry, I maybe rushed through your mail too fast. > I have a very full inbox :-(

> I'll read it again this weekend and will get back to > you.

That was 10 weeks ago, during which time I sent five further messages from two separate domains. Pretty shoddy, wouldn't you say?

KATEGIRL  I have been looking at Mac-based POS systems for over a year now. Most are over-priced (one was $8500!) or have too steep a learning curve. All I need is a piece of software to keep inventory and make sales - no serial numbers, no SRO's, no website integration etc. In my opinion, these guys hit it on the money with this software. I checked out the demo version online and really liked what I saw but I couldn't tell from the website what peripherals would work. I managed to catch their demonstration at the Apple store right before Macwork SF and all of my questions were answered This software works with a scanner, cashdrawer and a receipt printer. Inventory files can be imported and more importantly the price is right! I couldn't be happier.

JOEL MUELLER  I'll personally vouch that the two main guys behind this project are really great guys. Very personable and generous.

PHALERON  Looks very, very promising, provided it's priced for small, do-it-yourself proprietorships that are just starting up.

HENRIKTEKNIK  This application looks beautiful and easy enough for anyone to handle. Just by the looks of it, I'm feeling itchy to start up a business right away. :)
