WHAT THE?  at first I when I tried I thought yeh great. Then when using with large jobs it picked up a few issues with my files, and I pride myself on perefect output to pdf...

so now I use to all the time, as it is insurance to that you are supplying a file that wont come back and bite you. It is easy to forget when the pressure is on... this saves my butt.

RADIANCE CREATIVE  If you are looking for a more robust way to preflight your documents than what InDesign CSx offers then this plugin fits the bill.

We needed something that would quickly show us the Effective resolution of images used in InDesign documents. We often work with FPOs from photographers, so we need a very fast way to make sure that we have replaced those FPOs with the High Resolution versions in our final documents

InPreflight allows us to specify whatever Effective Resolution we are looking for. We can set it to flag images with less than 300ppi resolution for offset printing, or less than 360ppi resolution for printing on our Epson 7600. We can also flag spot colors, RGB images, embedded fonts and many more options. Each set of variables can be save as a preset.

For the cost, we find this plugin very feature rich and an extremely valuable addition to InDesign CSx.
