EV: Override is Ambrosia Software's follow-up game to their popular Escape Velocity. Once again positioned in space, you command a small shuttle craft. You must conquer the enemy when endangering your life on rescue missions. Escape Velocity fans will get a kick out of this game. ANONYMOUS  It would be helpful if it were pointed out that it's not in fact a re-release, but a plugin conversion for Escape Velocity: Nova.

ANONYMOUS  Amazing game, doesnt have the graphics or enhanced engine of EV:nova but the storyline plot and feel is better and an amazing experience. Played this game for hours n hours for a long time.

Basically a space ship rpg where you upgrade your ship through money gained from missions or trading commodities, and eventually your missions lead you into a storyline where you turn the tides of wars and change fates ( while getting cash and more access to government class ships )

PSYCO  Wow. Kudos to ambrosia. An OS X version of EV is a wish I never thought would come true.

MATT BURCH  A great game, featuring a layered plot, acceptable graphics, and one of the most open RPG interfaces you'll find out there. If you haven't played it, you really should. Plus, it's Mac-only, so MacAddicts take heart! A true must-download. Please support Ambrosia Software.

PAPERHORSE  One of the best shareware games for the Mac and one of the classic alltime games for the Mac! The ability to download additional player designed scenarios/plug-ins from Ambrosia's website gives unlimited playability to the game. If you haven't tried it, you must give EVO a play and please support Ambrosia Software!

MIZRA  This game adds a series of complexities new to me, even after I mastered the first game. I believe the story is much more mystifying, and the plot thicker. Although I admit that the first game's ship designs were better. Ambrosia rocks!
