Windbuoy is a simple customizable widget that retrieves and displays wind speed, direction, and gust as well as air temp as reported by any one of hundreds of NOAA buoys. Speeds can be reported as m/s, knots or mph; temp as celsius or fahrenheit.

    KINGADROCK  Very nice application and responsive developer.

    I don't use this personally, but my Father-In-Law is a Captain on a 1600 Ton ship and uses WindBuoy to supplement his navigation equipment. He keeps a WindBuoy widget open for every buoy he will pass on his route to quickly review conditions. Very handy.
