GRUMPFFF I bought V2 from MUPROMO Bundle in december '07. I changed My Macbooks à few times, then now, on my Bran,d new MBP 13' the plugin don't work anymore because of to many activations. I let a message on the web site (support section), and I get no answer. I anderstand that it's a feature againt piracy, but I have bought This software witch I can't use anymore. Then, as the devellopers come here sommetimes, can they tell me how I can reset the activation count to use the plugin I HAVE PAID FOR? The activation count is mentioned nowhere. A software that I can't use is nothing but useless bytes. //All apologies for my poor english, I'm french// | |

DRAECHEN I would add I too had a motherboard and HD that died in my machine. Luckily I was able to restore from a Time Machine backup and the plugin no longer worked. Its ok I thought, I still have the serial number and the installer (I backed it up just in case). It didnt work after the restore, the reinstall etc. Said the serial number was already used. Just like yourself I understand the anti piracy side of things. I emailed them. No response. I found the contact us link on their support page. No response. Three attempts, I gave up. I will NEVER buy this software again (version I owned worked fine but with a single use of the installer better pray you never need to reinstall anything) I recommend against buying this software, no matter how it works.

THUS.SPAKE.Z After installing this version, iWow still says v. 3, not 3.1.

THUS.SPAKE.Z I neglected to add that at $40 iWow is overpriced IMO, even though it does work quite well in potentiating music dynamics. It used to be $20.

HEINZROHDE Thanks for this update SRS. I tried to install 3.0 under OS X 10.5.7 and iTunes 8.2 without any success. Today, with SRSiWOW Premium 3.1 everything went fine. | |

VOODOOBOY Yes, mysteriously this morning my iTunes crashed upon opening and would only function by uninstalling iWOW 3. I am very disappointed, as I have owned iWOW since version 1 and really like the product. Please SRS, send out a fix soon for this!

SATNAMSCOTT I`ve had the SRS iWOW product for itunes on my Apple macs for several years now. Versions 1 through 3 have all performed as promoted. In my estimation, Version 3 (when compared to V2) offers moderate improvements in definition/separation, better overall balance, in general a crisper, more clear, less "over driven" tone. I did prefer the version 2 window (the curious "wave/pulse" graphic aside) to the current one. With respect to the purchase itself I had no issues, no reason whatsoever to complain. The download/upgrade ($6.00) worked fine right from the start. btw. My current/main mac setup is as follows: 1 year old i-mac (2.8 duo) w. re-tread (local garage sale purchase for $10.00) JBL "Creatures" For me, the iWOW plug-in has really made all the difference.

PERROBOY I too am suffering from the NSInternalInconsistencyException bug, where iTunes crashes on starting, and that ever since Feb. DO NOT PURCHASE this app without trying it out first. If you have this same issue you have to uninstall iWOW to get iTunes to work again. Have notified SRSLabs of the issue and they tell me "engineering is looking into it"! RIGHT!!!! and how long is that now? I know Apple has a bad habit of suddenly changing the way its apps work, but for this to take so long and there be no official acknowledgement of the problem NOR a fix is a BAD sign. You reading this Michael, customer service dude @ SRS?

MICHAEL @ SRS LABS Whats up MacUpdate! Just wanted to let everybody whose using SRS iWoW version 3.0 plugin for iTunes know that we will soon be releasing a free update for the software that will enable the auto genre feature. Please keep a look out for the update as it will be available very soon.

DIGITALSCRAP Okay, when is this update for the Auto presets coming? Had I known prior to "upgrading" that this feature was not there, I never would have purchased the "upgrade". I can't for the life of me understand removing a key feature like this and calling the release an upgrade. Perhaps you should have delayed the release a bit? We were told "coming soon" in April, and here we are in June, and no update.
