DESCRIPTION
Degrees Down Under (DDU) display the current temperature for locations around Australia, using data from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology website. Common features include:
- Automatic updating of the temperature at specified intervals
- Links to detailed observations on the Bureau's website
- Instant indication of temperature via varying colour
There are other weather applications and widgets around, many more powerful, but they don't give the same information. By using data from the Commonwealth Bureau of Meteorology, Degrees Down Under and the DDU Widget present high-quality Australian data.
WHAT'S NEW
Version 2.3:
- Adds an option to display "apparent" temperature, which has only recently become available on the Bureau of Meteorology's website
- Also accommodates other changes to the Bureau's website, which prevent earlier versions of Degrees Down Under and the widget from working.
- If you are upgrading from an earlier version, you will need to re-select your chosen weather station.

Mac OS X 10.2 or later.
