PENGUIRL  Does what Meteorologist used to do, the difference being that WeatherSnitch is still supported. Nice, free software - thank you!

JIMW  I am a satisfied users of Meteorologist, another free menu bar program. The reason - It works for me and provides more information from the menu bar, than this product does - at least based on the screenshots and description as I have yet to actually try the product. However Meteorologist is quite unstable for some and has not been updated or well supported in quite a while. Therefore I can no longer recommend it for new users. It will not surprise me if Meteorologist fails to function in Leopard. If so it is likely I will attempt to switch to this product.

Ideally, since Meteorologist seems to be looking for a reliable development effort, it would be nice if the developer of this product took a look at Meteorologist and if possible, took on it's continued development, with the goal of merging this product and Meteorologist into a single product. It seems to be a duplication of efforts to me to have two products, both free, that visually do mostly the same thing using the same resource (weather.com).

RICKEY939  Seconded on the Meteo comment. Use that open source!

E_COMMERCE  Why this developer didn't just pick up the Meteo source code. It currently has a bug in searching for cities (which makes it useless for a first-time user), but otherwise it's a much more capable and mature package. And it's free/open source to boot.

KWOJNIAK  Seems to be working great. Also it's not a MenuExtra, which automatically makes it more stable than other similar programs. And it uses Growl :-)

PALLISVANS  I'm a sucker for weather apps but sorry I can't use this one. Though taking it's data from weather.com one can't choose any location outside USA or change from Fahrenheit to Celsius.
