MALER Shame, that developers abandoned Tiger :(. We use old Macs with Mac OS X Tiger as terminal stations for Windows, and i wanted to switch from RDC to some other product :(. (Version 0.5.1)

FRANKO Ok I realize the following adjective is used ad nauseam but...CoRD is "snappy" on my DP 2.0 Powermac G5! While MS' RD is ok, CoRD brings up the Vista DT in the time you can say "BSOD" :) (Version 0.5.1)

MACKER123 CoRD is awesome. I literally use it 12+ hrs per day and manage alot of different connections seamlessly. However, one thing that has annoyed me from the start is I lose my apple key select all, copy and paste. Anytime I hit the apple key it opens up the windows start menu. If I disable it I get nothing. Having to right click copy/paste takes so much more time than apple key a/c/v, etc Any way to get this functionality? (Version 0.5)

GRYFFIN CoRD still offers much better performance than Microsoft's own Remote Desktop Client (currently version 2.0.1). Just tried the two side by side, connecting to a Dell workstation running WinXP Pro on the same subnet. CoRD connected faster, and the frame rate seemed to be about double MS RDC's when dragging an object around the screen. CoRD's UI may not be as polished (sorry, but I hate "drawers"), and it crashes on me once every few months or so, but it does what it does very well, better than anything else I've found. What's not to like? (Version 0.5)

NAOH CoRD has been a mainstay in my toolkit for many years now, for those times when I have to deal with Windows computers and servers. Over the years I've seen it improve and become more refined. However, one thing appears to have been a long standing oddity. The icons that appear in the bottom left of the System Tray/toolbar (just to the right of the Start menu) have never drawn properly. It looks like the mask is drawn, but not the icon. It's not a major issue, but it puzzles me that such an obvious issue hasn't been addressed in the many years that I've used CoRD. Other than that, I've never had any major issues with CoRD at all. Two thumbs up! (Version 0.5)

MIKELAMBRELLIS Having tried Microsoft's own appalling rdp client as well as the MacPorts rdesktop client, I can only say that CoRD is excellent. It has a VERY Mac-like interface and I like the scaling of the windowed display to fit my laptop's screen. Congratulations to the developer. My only request would be to add the ability to run specific applications/shells. (Version 0.5b2)

Please add options for turn off mapping COMMAND key to WINDOWS key. I hate "always popup" Windows menu.

PAULNOJUSTPAUL If you're running one of the 0.5 pre-releases and are comfortable with Terminal, try this: defaults write net.sf.cord SendWindowsKey 0 HTH and cheers. (Version 0.5b2)

DORIANJ We've added this in 0.5b3. (Version 0.5b3)

DRYWALL The help documentation indicates an option for "Forward local disks," but the connection inspector doesn't appear to actually have a checkbox for that. With the ability to connect my local disks, this software is of no use to me. Seems a nice implementation otherwise, though. (Version 0.4.3)
