dupeGuru Music Edition is a tool to find duplicate songs in your music collection. It can scan filenames, tags, or contents.

dupeGuru ME is efficient. dupeGuru ME is safe. Its engine has been especially designed with safety in mind. Its reference directory system as well as its grouping system prevent you from deleting files you didn't mean to delete.

CALHDGAL  I'm thrilled this is available, I've been using dupe guru on a sizeable database for years, On (gasp) a pc... and to find this here? It's downloading as we speak... it works amazingly well, though the older version had to be checked manually to make sure you weren't deleting same song, diff albums (i.e. compilations, best ofs, etc)... any difference here?

Also, what IS it with the mac, and itunes downloading the song up to 6 times??? hmmm can't wait to get my 160gb cleaned up, my 80 gb was stolen. have all the music on a backup drive, or my macbook pro, and it's dogging along with over 120gb on here, no room for photos or art! lol

Feedback, please?

AKROBAT  I downloaded and used the demo copy to remove duplicate files from my computer and like the post below was very pleased with how it performed.

Good interface, easy to use and very fast. I'd downloaded a number of other 'duplicate finding' apps and this one outperforms them all. Keep up the good work.

IANESQUE  A very quick and powerful tool for identifying duplicate songs in your iTunes library. The feature set and interface is generally very good, although I found it rather annoying to need to check the box next to so many duplicates. Surely there is a better way? Generally excellent, however...
