    *....

MD07  This program is horrible. Absolutely horrible.

The scrolling is slow to the point of uselessness. I get constant pops and glitches while previewing loops. There is no way to crop a sample once you've set loop points. There are tons of useless features and a couple good ones that don't work well. They tried to do some "fancy" openGL stuff but it ends up completely defeating the point of the program which is to deal with audio files and loops.

I don't really know what they were thinking when they released this software.... Do yourself a favor and stay away from this.  (Version 1.1.2)

COMPUTERNAUT  This is not too bad! I'm using Kontakt 2 as my sampler and this comes in pretty handy in combination with K2.

I wish I could drag & drop soundfiles on the program icon and/or the program's window.

I'm waiting with my review until it's more developed.  (Version 1.0.1)

    ***½.

SKYBASE  Although it lacks in a couple features which would have made the software more useful, I think it's the sort of thing I was looking for. It isn't really a tool for finding loops in music or anything else, but its rather for finding loops in sampled material. For example, I sample a hardware synthesizer, and then I look for sustain loops using the program, and finally I can import the looping sound into other samplers.

This is more for developers of musical instruments than of general use.   (Version 1.0rc2)

    *½...

JONARIC  The software does not feature the ability to "zoom" in on a region. This makes it VERY difficult when trying to loop a small portion of an entire song. You move the cursor 1-2 pixels, and the audio ends up moving several seconds. The scroll is also VERY slow, and you can eaily wait several minutes for it to scroll to where you want to be in the waveform.

    Frustrating.  (Version 1.0rc2)
