    **...

MLANGER  I lost most of my photos in iPhoto to a hard disk crash and really hoped this program could help me. To me, it was WORTH the high price tag to get those photos back.

However, I found this program extremely disappointing. Although it does enable you to download the images by iPhoto album, the quality of the resulting images is far inferior to what I was able to obtain with the freeware, no frills program, Keith's iPod Photo Reader. Since quality is more important than convenience, I went with Keith's, saved my money, and got better results.

My advice: try this before you buy it. The demo is limited to five photos at a time, but that should be enough to give you an idea of what you can expect.

Thank heaven I backed up my most important photos before the crash.

THEVALRUS  Just so you all know, this is $20 at macZOT today, although personally I don't understand why anyone would pay even that much for it.
