SHOCK J This app sounds great but is definitely lacking a bit. First of all, it just needs to be smarter. I had two albums (in different libraries) where the only difference was a capital letter in the album title ("onmyradio" vs "Onmyradio"). Otherwise the files were completely identical. It just can't have a generic search where ANY difference whatsoever is merit for copying. Minor discrepancies in album titles happen all them time, particularly when there is punctuation. (i.e. "Vo1. 1," vs "Vol 1:" or "Vol. 1-"). If this thing copies anything and everything with no "intelligence" to speak of, I'm going to spend hours removing duplicates from all my synced libraries. This app is supposed to save me time, not create more work for me. My second issue is the interface itself. Simple is good, but TOO simple, to the point where you have too little control over what happens, is not good. There is too little the user can do to actually help the app make the correct choices. You can "transfer tracks by dragging between the track list and the source list." How about enabling the track list and source list to be viewed in SEPARATE windows so we can see them AT THE SAME TIME. Having only one view and having to go back and forth is just retarded. This app has potential, but it still feels like a fresh off the shelf version 1.0 app. When it becomes smarter and more robust, then it'll be a great addition to my software library. (Version 2.1.3) |
