DESCRIPTION
Hong Kong Typhoon Alert is a Dashboard widget that checks the Hong Kong Observatory for severe weather alerts (thunderstorms, typhoons, rainstorm warnings and more), and displays the relevant alert on your dashboard to show you when trouble is on the way.

    TOM WOODHAMS  The widget has received a good degree of testing this week, some people are reporting that it is not correctly linking to the website in the event of a warning, this will be fixed in the next version. Also it is necessary to press Command R to refresh the widget to display up to the second updates.

    V.2.0 will be a complete rewrite in dashcode using Apples RSS engine and will be much better.

    READON  I think this is a really great widget for all Hong Kongers who use a macintosh, like myself. Provides a really useful tool when the typhoon season arrives in Hong Kong.
