TFINDLAY  I don't know about earlier version but this version of Selenium is not just about finding information. It is a writing project tool. It allows users to gather information from the web and to keep track of the bibliographic data as they work. While it can import PDF documents it would be nice if you could link to other document types such as Word docs, Pages docs, email messages, etc. and launch these linked documents from within Selenium.

MACBLISS  This is a very unique and interesting app. One things I noticed is that it really needs keyboard shortcuts for the outliner. And the text field should be selected when you create an outline item, so you can immediately enter text.

VEGGIEDUDE  It seems to be a web browser, pretending to be something else. It works though. And its free.

SIDETRACKED  AcidSearch is a much more quick, customizable, direct way to all the same sites (plus many, many more). This is nicely laid out, but having to work outside the browser slowed things down for me a lot.

JAZZADDICT  Nice, but a bit lost. I'm played with this .app for a while and found that though it does what it's meant to do, and and is stable as far as I can tell, I could not find a practical means to bring it into my workflow. I currently do my web research with a combination of Devon Agent, iclip, and Journler. I feel like this .app needs more time to mature. What I think this would be great for is an .app for kids k-12 or anyone not very experienced with web research. One thing I think they should add are contextual menu items for copying selected text to the note pad, and images to the Photos bin. I'll keep it in my system and see where it goes. Peace :)

JAZZADDICT  One last thing... If you look at the screen shot, you can see everything the .app does. It has no preferences, and most its menu items are found on the toolbar.
