Easy iWeb Publisher is a free Mac application that allows the quick and easy uploading of iWeb sites to your web host. It will quickly upload a file or the contents of a folder to a web site via FTP. Once configured, uploading a web site created in iWeb is as easy as dragging a folder on to the Easy iWeb Publisher icon in the dock.
Easy iWeb Publisher will also publish web sites created with virtually any web site creation program. Just drag the folder that contains the web site to the Easy iWeb Publisher window, configure, and go!
Fixes a slew of bugs left over from the user interface redesign
Resolves issues with configurations not saving properly
Version 5.0:
Version 5.0 dramatically decreases the time it takes to upload updates to your web site. The first upload with version 5.0 will take the longest. Subsequent uploads will be orders of magnitude faster than previous versions.
LAURENWANTSHELP I've been searching High And Low for help on this issue. it seems like many other people have the same issue but no one has come with solutions! im desperate to launch my site this week and I NEED HELP
everything goes smoothly up until the point at which i "Publish To Web" Once i do that uploading suddenly stops and says "Couldn't Stop Upload!" all you can click is OK, once i click OK it says Transfer Stopped By User.
JACK_EDGAR It was recommended to me that I download this application to publish my website. I am having trouble using it and I would really appreciate some help. When ever I try and check my configuration or try and publish the website, the application comes up with unexpected termination. What could be causing this. I checked with my hosting website and they said the configuration sounded correct. Thanks for the help! (Version 5.0.1)
DAVIDMCANNON Only used it once thus far (with iWeb 08 generated files to a Zen hosted website) but absolutely perfect - downloaded the app, and uploaded my website in less than 5 mins.
Could not ask for more - great free app (Version 5.0.1)
BGOODRICH I've got questions, not a review -- sorry, but would love advice!
I've got an old and many-page website through my university that only permits sftp connections, not ftp. Will this work there, and in the old subdomains?
Also, will it change the index's url address? I don't want to complicate other people's links to it.
MICHAOH After trying many times to upload optimized versions of my iWeb-created site within iWeb, only to find that I shot down the whole site (????), - at least I couldn't find it anymore..., Easy iWeb Publisher 5.0.1. did the job perfectly. So from now on I'll be able to work on my site and publish it without fearing to loose contact.
I need help. What should I put in the field for "Folder To Publish To:"? What does it mean? I'm trying to publish my iWeb Site straight to the interet, using izfree.com as a domain/server hosting. (Version 5.0.1)
CALEB Wait! Never mind about that above comment. It's working now. The problem is, at certain intervals of percents of the upload, the upload will stop, and say that the file transfer was failed. Is there any way I can fix this? (Version 5.0.1)

BFAPOWERMAC I have tried easy iWeb 4 and when I uploaded my web file it said successful but my web host didn't get anything? Then I downloaded iWeb ver 5. 2. Delete the Easy iWeb Publisher preferences found here: ~/Library/Preferences/com.Plyxim.EasyiWebPublisher3.plist
3. Launch Easy iWeb Publisher again and enter your settings
or:
1. Pick your Configuration in the Easy iWeb Publisher tab
2. Re-drag your published your iWeb folder to the Easy iWeb Publisher window
Hopefully one of those should resolve the issue. (Version 5.0)

THINKX Just trying it out.. so far so good.. a few UI bugs, and the user-interface could use some consolidation, i.e. too many drawers for such a simple program.
But nice and simple so far.. good tool, not just for iWeb, but for any web design tool that publishes it's files to a local folder. (Version 4.0)
