RICH K.  version 1.2 fails because its Mplayer binary is out dated.

download the latest binary here: http://switch.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/mplayerosx/ffmpegXbinaries20060307.zip then replace the old one in file:///Applications/Radio2ipod.app/Contents/Resources/bin/mplayer

works fine again though you might experience real time audio drop out the final file is complete and playable.

credit to jaysin22 for finding the soluion http://code.google.com/p/radio2ipod/issues/detail?id=1

DESMOSCOLEX  I was using radio2ipod to download bbc radio streams. All was going well with my $12 802.11b router until I got the airport extreme basestation and now I can't get them to work. I can listen to the streams but no more downloading. If I connect the powerbook directly to the modem all works fine so it must be an issue with the basestation (which happens whether I am connecting wirelessly or wired). Any suggestions?

DREAMKATCHA  Just some odd behaviour I thought you might appreciate me reporting...

Choosing not to add recordings to iTunes has no effect - Radio2ipod has a stab at it either way.

The entries that automatically appear in iTunes, however, are unusable because it claims not to be able to locate the original files even though they haven't been moved from the desktop. To play them back or move them to your iPod you have to manually import them and delete the original entry from the library.

DREAMKATCHA  Just upgraded to the latest version and noticed that it plays what it's recording out loud making it impossible to listen to other audio at the same time.

I can't seem to find a way to mute the app independent of other system sounds. Any help would be much appreciated.

DREAMKATCHA  This is one of the few apps worthy of a permanent place in my dock. I use it every day to record a variety of BBC radio shows and it works flawlessly 99% of the time. As cliched as it is to say it does exactly what it promises... it does exactly what it promises. Excellent work!

MACPSY  I have never written a review before, but felt I should. What a great little app. works sweetly on 10.4.6, version 1.01.

P.S A timer for live shows would be a cool addition, but that said it makes me happy as it is.

DAVID GRIFFITHS  The problems appeared to stem from a library mismatch in Panther. I am looking into getting a backwardly compatible - but for now this application is TIGER only.
