REXLUTHOR I was looking for a right click "create rar archive" option just like on windows or on the finder for zip archives. I finally found something that does this amazingly on a blog. Check this out:
LOUNGE DELUXE Thanks a lot for this excellent suggestion! (Version 1.10)

STORMCHILD This is the best RAR utility I've found for OS X so far (other than unRarX, which is great too, but it only extracts archives; it doesn't create them).
One small thing that needs to be fixed is that the preset sizes for split archives are not quite correct. For example it lists 100 MB as 102,400,000 bytes, but 100 megabytes is actually 104,857,600 bytes (100 * 1024 * 1024). (Version 1.0.9)
APPLECRYPT MODS i love this app, it's serving me well. But it has issues on really large folders. (mine is over 2.3GB). It just seems to stop working.. yelp! (Version 1.0.9)
PROMETH Great, app. Basically what I was looking for.
My most important request is to add a "Ignore Special Finder Files" option.
Next, somehow I feel that the interface needs to be simplified further. Something more like Stuffit 12 and DropStuff. If you'd like, email me and I can come up with a [proffesional] design for you, as that's what I do for a living.
Thanks, and keep up the great work. (Version 1.0.9)

BILLARAW I like it, it is really easy to use and gets the work done. However I couldn't find a way to open password protected rars which was confusing. (Version 1.0.9)
ZANGIEF The only major drawback to this is that you must quit and reopen it to remove any files from the list (that is, to make an entirely new archive). Other than that, I love it! (Version 1.0.9)
GENNYBEANS you don't need to restart the program to start a new archive.
simply right click on the file you have there, and select "remove selected file".
and drag-drop a new file in, and start the process over again. (Version 1.0.9)

LIFE OK I love this app but I'm having problems. When trying to use the 'Normal Level' of compression and splitting an achieve into 100MB volumes it quits.
And how do u specify user defined volume sizes? I cant figure it out or am I dim? (Version 1.0.9)
