PhotoComplete has been built from the ground up specifically for editing photos. We've left out the fluff that never gets used, and instead spent our time tuning the features you really need.

With PhotoComplete you can:

  • enhance the color in a photo
  • enhance the tonal range and contrast of a photo
  • ensure all your photos are perfectly straight
  • sharpen and reduce digital noise in a photo
  • upload your edited photos to flickr.com

All edits to a photo are applied in real time, and you can go back and change your mind about any alterations you've made to a photo at any time you want.

PhotoComplete supports JPEG, TIFF and PNG files, and will read any EXIF or XMP metadata that is embedded in a photo.

    BOMBADIL  Pros:

    Good UI, simple, logical and intuative.

    Does a few tricks that average iPhoto users might appreciate, like adding a frame and uploading to Flickr, plus other image adjustments.

    Cons:

    No "auto levels" or "auto brightness & contrast", which I feel are essential in an image editor for non-pro photographers.

    None of those fancy Core Image filters available that one sees in some other similar apps.

    The "Fit image size to window" does not work, it just resizes the image to 100%.

    Conclusion: Nice simple image adjustment/enhancement application, but with room for improvement.  (Version 1.2.1)

    RONALDJOHN  This blog needs another category of remark called "Opinions" to differentiate personal points of view from reviews. Too often inaccurate opinions prompted by skewed perceptions and emotional rants are inaccurately posted as reviews.

    I paid over ten grand for my first mac setup. The Mac II with a 40 megabyte HD and 4 megs of RAM was around $3000. LaserPrinter $2500, fax modem $900, scanner $1200 - without software. That was 1989 and just about any application (WP, DTP/Graphics, Utilities, etc.) was hundreds of dollars. Today you can buy 10-20 apps for what one cost back then. We are amidst a golden age of Mac innovation. There are so many cool little programs being developed world wide and it's in everyone's best interest to encourage and shape these innovations by posting factual information that helps both consumer and developer make good decisions.

    If you are feeling the need to express a negative "opinion", please realize the enjoyment you are receiving from venting selfishly serves only you while, many times, unfairly casting doubt on someone's else's hard work, effort, and/or motives.  (Version 1.2.1)

    FROMAGE-HEAD  I wanted to try it a bit but I've got strange messed up colors when I open any file

    I'm using a 2Ghz mac pro with 10.4.8, quicktime 7.1.3  (Version 1.2)
