CarryOut lite is task management software (fancy wording for a to-do list). It is designed to be fully functional while maintaining an easy to use interface.

WHAT'S NEW
Version 1.0b.2:
  • Changed the versioning number from version only to version and build number.
  • Corrected the preferences window Apply- and Cancel-button tooltips.
  • Added a feature which disables the email feedback features if no SMTP host is entered. They are enabled once a host is entered. A notification of this is also shown.
  • Changed the maximum number of projects shown in the drop-down menu to 6.
  • Improved the menu items.
  • Added keyboard shortcuts to the four task/project editing buttons plus the Preferences and Check for Update menu items.
  • Added keyboard shortcuts to access the CarryOut and Response menus.
  • Set a default button for all popup dialogs.
  • Added a (hopefully) functioning saved data backwards compatibility.
  • Added a way of sorting tasks so that completed tasks can appear either at the top or at the bottom of the list.
  • Added error dialogs showing when trying to rename a task to nameless or to the same name as an existing task.
  • Changed the location of saved data. On Mac OS, the data and settings are saved in a folder named "save" in the same folder as the CarryOut lite bundle. On Windows, the same folder is located in the directory of CarryOut lite.exe.
  • Fixed the bug with the don't show project removal warning not working

    SCHOSCHIE  The download link does not work and the developer's website has been taken over by some domain trader.

    KEMACSABE  Just installed this and works pretty well, esp. given the price (FREE!) -- It's very simple and user friendly, meaning even I can walk my way through it. I was looking for an easy "To Do List"-maker and here it is. Only problem is providing feedback to the developer: the built-in feedback feature opens in Preferences and asks for your email address, SMPT host, your server User name and Password. I appreciate an automated service, but no one should provide anyone with that info. I can't find any other way to contact the developer; there's nothing else in the app that I can find, and the only Contact I find on the website is for donation thru PayPal. Oh, a snail-mail address. Developer: if you read this, please provide an email address so we can give you feedback.

    JVENDRYES  Hi, Thank you for the wonderful review of CarryOut! You should know that we are removing the way the feedback options are handled in the next release. We will no longer be storing the username or password on the computer. Alternatively, you can send us feedback by emailing us at feedback@carryoutlite.com and eventually we will implement this function directly into our website!
