DESCRIPTION
WebSMS is a nice alternative to send SMS from your carrier's web site. It automates all the boring stuff. It's easy as the cell phone: compose, click, sent!

It gives you one-click access to your mobile contacts from the Address Book. Use a different phone color for each one of your frequent contacts. It even supports CAPTCHA's.

Released under an open source license, it can be extended to support new carriers writing a plugin. A thoroughly commented template lets you create your own plugin in a minute.

WebSMS project is kindly hosted by Origo ETH Zurich. Join the mailing list to follow development, submit bug reports and suggest new features.

CLAUCLAU  Nice application,

I wish it could remember the provider settings by default when I recall the widget back from its "dormient" dashboard dock without re selecting all the time.

The developer is very careful to details and make this widget as compat as possible, if we see the many features it includes (proxy, language choice, colours and modules update), really clever.

It gets truly frustrating on Alice on alice account:

no service wrong key code when it's not,

sometime i have to retype the password in the account to make it work again, but by looking at the many updates the developer released, tracking up the constant changes of the main providers, i assume it's Alice itself causing this annoyance giving a hard time to the developer.  (Version 2.7)

STEVE12  Great software.

Make very easy for people with free sms service from: Alice, TIM, Vodafone and Tin to send message.

Only one complain.

A way to know that your massage was sent.

Ciao  (Version 1.5)
