STEVO881  Excellent program, very easy to use. Great for DVD printing.

Prints directly to DVD with Epson printer, no calibration needed.

Never crashed once, great App.

WILLIAM25  Disc Cover works great on my iMac G5 PPC, 2.0 Ghz. Really like the addition of an envelope for CDs and DVDs.

Never had any trouble with stability at all. I recommend this to anyone.

SCOTT4  I have been using this product for well over 2 years (started with v1.x) and it has worked great and it has some of the best tools to use. It integrates wonderfully with iLife and I haven't had it crash on me at all. I use it on a Canon 4200 with Direct CD printing.

NESSUNO  This is by far the most unstable piece of software I have ever tried to work with. It crashes daily, or even more often (after wake-up from sleep), it handles text frames absolutely idiotically (the text would fit on the disc, but the app extinguishes it), you can't configure it (text or other default values)...

Don't pay a cent for this!

BELIGHT TEAM  NESSUNO, I suggest you update the program to the latest version which may fix the problem you have with program crashes. You may also contact our support and they may be able to assist you to solve the problem you have.

As for the use of text boxes, I think you haven't really learned the way the program works. The app does not hide any portion of the text that can be fitted on the disc. Unless you set Outer or Inner margins in such a way that Text Wrap causes text to flow down within the text box. These margins can be adjusted from Design Element tab of the Inspector.

It's not clear as well what you mean by not being able to configure text or other default values. Most text settings are accessible from Text tab of the Inspector.

If you want to learn how to work with the program, you can check out short video tutorials available on BeLight web site, read manual or ask our tech support any question you may have.

NESSUNO  The problem - besides stability - with text wrapping is that text portions are hidden that obviously WOULD fit on the disc. But D.C. insists that it's more intelligent than me. So it forces me to cut / paste text in portions, which is ridiculous.

BELIGHT TEAM  I don't understand the problem you have, did you read the reply above? If adjusting Outer and Inner margins didn't solve the problem, can you send me an email describing the problem in more details and maybe you can send a screenshot illustrating this?

MAGOSILVAN  I bought Disc Cover exactly one year ago.

It's intuitive and I used it several times with satisfaction, and great prints without any problem.

Usually I insert my own imagines, but it is provided with a number of ready to use ones.

SFURST  I think this is a great product. I was a long-time Disclabel user but got increasingly fed up with being asked to upgrade every 6-12 months (at $15/pop). I decided to try something different, and came across Disc Cover. MUCH better. More intuitive user interface, MANY more templates (Disclabel wants to charge you for theirs), and even a pdf manual! I don't feel like I'm being nickel and dimed, as I was with Disclabel. I've had nothing but great customer service when I've had a question, and they seem to put out regular (and so far, free) updates. (They recently added import from Toast, which was a much-desired feature) I'm very pleased with Disc Cover, and only sad I wasted so much money on Disclabel.

SJK  Re: import from Toast

My understanding is that it still only works with audio, not video (e.g. EyeHome data).

ORION MK. V  DC prints fine and accurately for me on both my laser and inkjet printers. You may want to use an app like http://www.appzapper.com/to FIRST delete all your old DC prefs and try a fresh install and don't calibrate first. Only shift it isn't working.

APPLE CODER  Only using the demo copy, I got a test print going in under 5 minutes--great; however, I am unable to remove the border from the outside edge and inside edge when it prints using the Epson r220 printer. A different application prints onto the whole test disc. Another application, I gave up after 15 minutes to print a test.

Fix the bleeding on the print, and print FULL like it says, and this is a winner.
