CHELLQ  After trying several Sudoku games, I happily purchased UniSudoku. Why?

1) The auto-generated puzzles are true Sudoku puzzles. I tried others that were too easy & could be solved by chance rather than logic.

2) The user interface makes it easy to enter numbers and pencil marks - just click in the box. Its the most playable Sudoku I tried by far. It's a bit plain but I prefer that to the garish style of some others. It's the closest I've found to pencil & paper with the advantages of the computer.

3) The highlight numbers feature helps solve hard puzzles. There are some programs with more "solver" capabilities, but this is the one I enjoy playing. I'd suggest reading the user manuel for "Sudoku Susser" to learn advanced Sudoku strategies, but for playing Sudoku - I use UniSudoku.

DOMBI  I actually like this one. The biggest problem with the other Sudoku games is the way they handle the number entry. You usually need to manually type it in, or pick a number and keep placing the same number until you pick a different number.

This game implemented a very easy way of dealing with number entries. I love it! Finally I don't have to battle the software and I can really focus on the game.

Excellent software!

BLLOYD  How many of these freaking Sudoku games are there? My MacUpdate RSS feed is basically completely polluted with them... there are like 25 updates to different SuDoKu games per day.

Between them and VueScan, there's no room for anything else in the 25 RSS updates :-(

SABOR  There are many sudoku games out there, but trust me, there way more instances of people bitching about software they don't like to read about. The latter being incredibly more annoying.

AMBERV  There are many people who write about annoying software out there, but *trust* me, people pointing it out and writing about annoying people being annoying are *way* more annoying than the former being more annoying than the latter is annoying to the annoying people who find annoying more people with annoying comments more annoying than reading annoying comments about annoying people.

So please, give us all a break.
