DESCRIPTION
SimpleDEMViewer browses DEM (Digital Elevation Model) data as pictures. It displays color elevation map with shading. It supports gtopo30, etopo2, etopo5, globe, srtm, srtm dted, hydro1k and many bil form data. User should prepare DEM data separately. You can make Mercator projection map, Corn projection map, orthographic projection maps. You can show pictures, movies or web pages linked to any places on the earth using memo function.

Version 3.7: - Supports the function to find highest or lowest point in the specified region or whole dem.

- Ver. 3.6.2 and 3.6.4 used invalid file names to store texture map information and color settings. (Note)
- Bil form dems addressing are treated incorrect way. ulxmap and ulymap should point center address of the upper-left corner cel.
- Sometimes Antarctica is drawn in invalid color when White-Antarctica is specified.
- User area data shows size of zero when they are loaded before any dem files.
- cannot recognize bil form dems correctly when hdr file has XDIM, YDIM, ULXMAP, ULYMAP specified in seconds.
- Copy mouse point address function copies invalid address when dem is in UTM coordinate.
(Note) If you want to retain settings under 3.6.3 or 3.6.4, rename following two files in the Library/Preferences/ folder in your home.
