DESCRIPTION
iTVRemote... IMHO, EyeTV is just great... but the controller just eats up too much screen real estate for me. So this is a very small controller that will switch channels, pause and play, and mute. With it tucked discreetly away where ever you like, you can hide the larger controller until you need it. Paid version is now available. Visit the site at http://www.tracyvalleau.com/itvr/ for more information.
WHAT'S NEW
Version 1.2 fixes a few bugs; adds placement near the video window; closes the EyeTV controller; updates documentation. Paid version now available with more features. Original version is now free. Works with EyeTV 2 or later (paid version with 3.5 or later) Compatible with EyeTV 3.0. Visit the website to get a free QuicKeys macro that will toggle both EyeTV and iTVremote on and off together. (Requires QuicKeys.)

JEFF H.  I stand corrected...it does hide the original.

...will it also launch when EyeTV is launched, or will it have to be launched separately?

TVALLEAU  You have to launch it manually. It was designed to be "non-bloated" and to have it launch when EyeTV launches would require a second program running all the time in the background just looking to see if EyeTV was launched. Way too much overhead for a "little gadget."

TVALLEAU  NP. FWIW, I posted my QuicKeys macro that toggles them both on and off on the website. Perhaps that will help.

JEFF H.  Yea, but then you end up with TWO things sitting on your screen. I don't care how many times someone says to "hide the controller" up in the menu bar, IT ALWAYS COMES BACK!!!

I'd download and gladly pay for this thing if it got rid of the big, goofy remote with EyeTV, but it does not.
